Raymundo J. Chico, “Ray”, was born in Argentina and graduated with degrees from the University of Cordoba (Doctorado en Ciencias Naturales – Geología), Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy (Master’s of Science in Mining Geology), and Harvard University (Master’s of Arts in Economic Geology). Early in Chico’s career in South America, he worked for DGFM and NL Industries in Argentina, and for the Cerro de Pasco Corporation in Peru, their Chilean mines, and ultimately in their corporate headquarters in New York City. He has extensive and varied professional experience; from uranium search and discoveries in the U.S., to porphyry copper and gold deposits prospecting high in the Andes Mountains. He has consulted for more than 50 major clients covering most mineral commodities in nearly 40 U.S. states, Canada, and more than 28 foreign countries. During the 1990’s, he served as consultant to the Minister of Mines and Energy in Peru. He has also worked as Registered Environmental Consultant for the U.S. Government’s Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC), numerous banks, fiduciary institutions and property owners throughout the U.S., Canada and Latin America. In 1979, Ray Chico created the NASDAQ – listed public company, American Gold Minerals Corporation with primarily gold properties throughout the U.S. In 1983, he successfully merged the corporation, benefiting nearly 5,000 shareholders of common stock. Ray Chico is a Registered Professional Geologist No. 141 in the State of Idaho, A Registered Environmental Professional, REP 5306 in the United States, member of several professional societies, and executive appointee to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for the U.S. Government.

In 2003, Ray was a United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) designated representative involved in, Western U.S. field inspections. With extensive training, education, and direct field experience, Ray gained valuable first-hand knowledge of EPA’s procedures regarding environmental inventory verifications, compliance and enforcement, as well as health and safety requirements. He can assist in technical areas whenever operating mines and oil/gas production are being challenged by EPA under U.S. Federal laws.

His biography is listed in “American Men and Women of Science”, “Who’s Who in Finance and Industry”, and “Who’s Who of Environmental Professionals, 1997”.

Mineral exploration activities are carried out via AMADA MINERAL CORPORATION, and since 1996, active equity participation in the mining and real estate markets is pursued through CHICO INVESTMENTS, LLC.

Since 1990, Gregory Chico has worked for the organization from Austin, Texas in real estate investment analysis, land development strategies, feasibility research, and due diligence in the U.S. and Latin America for both AMADA MINERAL CORPORATION and CHICO INVESTMENTS, LLC. He is Vice President and Director of both companies. With a business degree from the University of Texas at Austin, Greg has 25 years of experience in successful evaluation of real estate investments, development of alternative / trade-off financing, environmental – legal matters, public right-of-way and eminent domain issues, and asset management.
